Why do you have to interrupt my one thing? Typical man. No, just kidding. For our third 300th episode, the first time I try to introduce God. This is why I'm not on camera. This is why I'm not on camera. Can I can I restart? Yeah. Alright, I'm gonna play the music again. Wait, we're gonna stop it?
unknownNo, go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Oh. What is up, MindBuzz Universe? Welcome back to another podcast episode of The Mind Buzz. I am your co-host, Amber, and working absolutely nothing today is a gil. How are you?
SPEAKER_05Let's get in the ring.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god.
SPEAKER_05What's up, ladies and gentlemen? It's 300 episode. I'm doing this in the mask. You should wear a mask.
SPEAKER_03No, I'm okay.
SPEAKER_05We're gonna wrestle after.
SPEAKER_03Turn around. I want to see the back of your hair. Your luscious locks.
SPEAKER_05How's it look?
SPEAKER_03Uh looks okay.
SPEAKER_05Poking my app. Looks good. Episode 300.
SPEAKER_03It wouldn't be episode 300 without us fighting.
SPEAKER_05Oh my gosh, ladies and gentlemen. What's up? What's going on? What'd you think? What'd you think, Amber? About what? You wanna do the intro more often? More often or less often?
SPEAKER_03No, the the least I can do, the better.
SPEAKER_05More often or least often, huh?
SPEAKER_03Uh either or works.
SPEAKER_05Either or? Um this is how you do it. Well, the reason why didn't I interrupt I interrupted you just a little bit? Because you gotta wait for the music to slow down a little bit, and then it's like music. You gotta let it breathe a little bit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but this is my intro.
SPEAKER_05You just jump right in before the music.
SPEAKER_03Gotta gotta go, gotta go. I got places to be, I got people to see, I got babies to kiss. I can't wait for no intro music. You gotta shake some babies on camera just for this episode. So no one's like, who's the girl in the back? Who's the voice?
SPEAKER_05If you're listening to this podcast on an audio platform like Spotify or Apple Podcasts, go to our YouTube channel, the Mind Buzz Podcast Network, uh and go take a look. Go take a look.

SPEAKER_03I've been it's you've been at it for 300 episodes.
SPEAKER_05I know what was episode 200 actually. Did we even do anything?
SPEAKER_03I don't think so.
SPEAKER_05Hold on, let me look.
SPEAKER_03Look. Look, look, look. Alright, I think I'm done being on camera.
SPEAKER_05You don't like it? Why?
SPEAKER_03Because I can't poke my nose. I can't scratch my crotch.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, you can.
SPEAKER_03All the nasty stuff.
SPEAKER_05You can still do that, but just make it inconspicuous.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. No thanks.
SPEAKER_05On the Poodle podcast, I I you can see my toes. If anybody's interested in that. Huh?
SPEAKER_03So I'm like melting all over this stuff.
SPEAKER_05Why?
SPEAKER_03My makeup's all over the place.
SPEAKER_05Oh, we just did a uh just an episode, you and I.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's right.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that's what we did.
SPEAKER_03That's right. I do remember that.
SPEAKER_05Dylan Amber, number six, celebrating 200 episodes, reflecting on our podcast journey, comedy festivals, and evolution of language.
SPEAKER_03Dang. Okay.
SPEAKER_05Um, episode 300, ladies and gentlemen, all up in your ears right here, right now. We've been in the studio for about a year now. You know what's crazy? Every hundredth like episode milestone always lands in August. Or on my birthday. Uh episode 100.
SPEAKER_02When you hit me.
SPEAKER_05No.
SPEAKER_02I'm just kidding.
SPEAKER_05Don't say that.
SPEAKER_02I'm kidding.
SPEAKER_05When I hit you up.
SPEAKER_02When you hit me up.
SPEAKER_05You let me hit. When you let me hit. When you let me hit a hundred. Two hundred. No, when it hits one hundred, uh, like when it hit when the podcast hit 100 episodes, it was around my birthday. And same thing with 200, uh, it was around like July. No, don't read 'em.
SPEAKER_03Okay. I'm not.
SPEAKER_05Not yet.
SPEAKER_03You can't even see that close or that far.
SPEAKER_05Uh and it's pretty cool. I get to celebrate my birthday, and then I get to celebrate something of uh it's also the birthday of the podcast. Because you get to celebrate the yeah, it's uh actually all-encompassing. It's my birthday plus the start of the podcast, which is August 1st. And then when we moved, and then when Yeah, just a lot of things happening in in August. And that's even like the the birth of the studio, the studio space. So uh a lot of things are happening in August, a lot of a lot of moving parts, a lot of celebration. Virgo, and geez, the podcast of is a Virgo, I'm a Virgo, the studio's a Virgo. That's why we all up in here.
SPEAKER_03That's why we all up in here vibing.
SPEAKER_05That's why we vibing all the time. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, whack. So we had a couple of messages from our friends and family. Um, right.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, we put a I put out a call to action. I said, we're recording our 300th episode of the mind buzz. Help us celebrate by sending us a video message, voice memo, or a written message. Share your favorite episode, a memory, how you found the podcast, or just congratulate us on 300. Please send your submission by 7 p.m. tonight. Hey. So we can include it in the episode. Thank you so much for the people that have submitted. I even well, I gave a full 24 hours more just so we can get more uh squeeze in a little bit more submissions.
SPEAKER_03The time my cousin on his birthday uh put on Facebook.
SPEAKER_05What did he say?
SPEAKER_03He said, uh, is anybody going to tell me happy birthday?
SPEAKER_05That seems usually look, usually I hey, usually I I don't I don't celebrate my birthday like that, or I don't tell people, hey, it's my birthday. Wish me a happy birthday. But this year might be different.
SPEAKER_03So you're gonna go on Facebook and see. Isn't it?
SPEAKER_05Watch me with that energy this year.
SPEAKER_03Is anyone going to wish me a happy birthday?
SPEAKER_05So is anybody gonna wish me a happy birthday? That's what the podcast is saying. If the podcast can talk or speak, it will say, aren't you gonna wish me 300th episode? Well, yeah, yeah, we are. And we had a couple people come in and uh wish us some uh uh usually I I don't I wouldn't do anything like this, but I was talking to Andy Calderon from the Crimson Comedy Podcast. Uh should go check it out. Uh link will be down in his show description. Uh no, I'll I'll tag him here. But I was talking to him on the phone and I was telling him, dude, I really want to do something. Nothing over the top for the 300th episode, but I just told him I want to do something.
SPEAKER_03And do a birthday comedy show?
SPEAKER_05I want to.
SPEAKER_03Sorry, okay, go.
SPEAKER_05I want that would have been cool. A mind buzz comedy. It's basically all the same thing. Uh I told him I want to do something special. What should I do? And he was like, oh, you should have people submit stuff to congratulate you on your 300th. And I was like, you know what? That's a good idea. And I kind of like shelved it for like a week. And I was like, ah, you know what? I'm gonna do it. Let's see who responds. And we had some response, so uh, I really appreciate it. So we're gonna go ahead and read a couple of those. What do you think? All right, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Let's get started.
SPEAKER_05And to get it started, uh Andy Kelderan from the Crimson Comedy Podcast.
SPEAKER_03Do you want to do videos in between? Or you want to do all the videos at the end?
SPEAKER_05What do you mean?
SPEAKER_03Never mind. Okay, good, keep going.
SPEAKER_05No, we're gonna we're gonna um As they come. Well, yeah, well uh so this is my idea. What do you think? So I'm thinking of playing them and then we can talk a little bit in between. And then play a video, read it, and then talk about it. What do you think? Okay. No? Yeah. Well, what was your idea?
SPEAKER_03We're having a discussion on how they um are gonna send us. No, I I mean I haven't seen anything, so yeah, yeah, you're right, you're right. We gotta talk about it. We gotta talk about Andy's deliverance. It's worthy.
SPEAKER_05Well, yeah, that, and then we could talk about like the video, what he's wearing.
SPEAKER_03Is this where he's like a Korean barbecue? Yeah. Okay. I want to see this.
SPEAKER_05Uh shout out Andy Kelder on. Go ahead and play.
SPEAKER_03I wonder if his wife recorded it. Probably his daughters.
SPEAKER_05Probably probably one of his daughters. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Ready?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, go ahead and double-click it.
SPEAKER_03I know how to put a video on.
SPEAKER_05And then press play.
SPEAKER_03This is the third 300th episode.
SPEAKER_00Hey guys, I want to give a quick shout out to Amber and Gill celebrating 300 episodes of the Mind Birds. Cheers. Here's another 300 episodes.
SPEAKER_03Dang that can look.
SPEAKER_05It does.
SPEAKER_03They're at Gen Korean.
SPEAKER_05Gen Korean barbecue.
SPEAKER_03Oh, my mouth got watery.
SPEAKER_05Let's go.
SPEAKER_03No one knows them. I can't.
SPEAKER_02I'm just kidding.
SPEAKER_05They need to make a Korean barbecue people for uh people that are on peptides.
SPEAKER_03You take like two bites and you're done.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like a third of the price.
SPEAKER_05Well, yeah, third. That's what I'm saying. Or check this out. Or a third of the price, and then make the booths bigger so you can take more people with that are on peptides.
SPEAKER_03Or they should charge per table.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, or per pound. How much meat you eat?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I like that.
SPEAKER_03Like they weigh how much you ate.
SPEAKER_05Well, how are they gonna weigh the they weigh you at the beginning? That'd be good, huh? They they weigh you when you get to the restaurant, they weigh you, and then on your way out, they weigh you again, and you pay the difference on.
SPEAKER_03I would go take a dump so that I would weigh less.
SPEAKER_05So would I. But I would take like a whole bunch of I would take like weighted shoes, like ankle weights with me.
SPEAKER_03Oh, so you can weigh more and then afterwards.
SPEAKER_05And then just leave the bigger.
SPEAKER_03They're like, sir, you lost 25 pounds at Korean barbecue. It's a miracle. It's a miracle.
SPEAKER_05Thank you, Jen Korean barbecue. I lost 30 pounds on the Jen Korean barbecue diet. Thank you. I really appreciate it. 300th episode.
SPEAKER_03Wait, can I say something non-relevant to this, but kind of relevant?
SPEAKER_05Well, that's why we're talking in between.
SPEAKER_03Just say yes. That's all you had to say was yes.
SPEAKER_05Go ahead. This looks like catsonas.
SPEAKER_03I know it does look like catsonas. Again, me with my today, I went to Disneyland.
SPEAKER_05Um, we gotta stop talking about Disneyland.
SPEAKER_03No, I don't have to. I don't have to do anything. But, anyways, uh today, as I was not walking, but you know what I mean? Walking, um, I see this couple and they're holding like their baby, or their son, and they're like toddler son, and then I see him like projectile something out of his mouth, and then I told my cousin, I was like, I think the baby's throwing up, or the kid's throwing up, and she's like, No. And then we walk past it, and it was like throw up. And they didn't even like whoa, they just let him like throw up all over the floor, and they walked away, and they didn't tell anybody, they didn't like anything, and there was people, there's like a crowd, and I was like, That's gross. Like, someone's gonna step in that, and then I seen the security guard and I was like, Somebody threw up over there, and he's like, Oh, oh, get right on it. That was it, that was my story for today.
SPEAKER_05Wait, the security guard had to go clean it up, or he went to go tell somebody.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but I was like, Are you serious? You serious? They just they like walk, like they didn't even stop for him to throw up, like they were just walking and he was like throwing up.
SPEAKER_05But did they know, did they know he threw up?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because the mom was like like patting his back, like, oh, it's okay. And then they just like walked away, and it looked like he ate like peaches or something. I looked at it and inspected it. Yeah, it was pretty gross. I was like, you couldn't take him to a trash can.
SPEAKER_05That's gross.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, all right, that was it.
SPEAKER_05And me eating things off the ground.
SPEAKER_03Thanks, Andy, for that video. We really appreciate you.
SPEAKER_05That ended up in Amber talking about throw-up. The child's throw up. Uh Andy Kelderon from the Crimson Comedy Podcast. Thank you so much for your video and the idea. Um, this is it's uh this can be one for the books. Yeah, yeah. Senor. Um, invite me back on your podcast again. Uh so we could do that.
SPEAKER_03All right.
SPEAKER_05What else?
SPEAKER_03Do you want me to do all the videos?
SPEAKER_05No, no, no. Uh so we're gonna go by the list, yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's what I wasn't sure of.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03All right. So we have a message from Ashley Vasquez. This is my sister, by the way. I did not force her to send this message. I didn't even know she said.
SPEAKER_05No, she sent it.
SPEAKER_03Said, I just want to say hi. Hi, incredibly proud I am. Oh, I think she meant to say how.
SPEAKER_05No, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_03I just want to say hi. Incredibly proud I am.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, she missed the comma. No, I think she was supposed to say. No, I just want to say hi, comma. Incredibly proud. Oh, yeah. You're stupid.
SPEAKER_02You're as dumb as she is.
SPEAKER_03Whoa! It's kidding. Hey, I think she meant to say hi. I just want to say how incredibly proud I am. I have seen you flourish into shy, gilly delic to now funny ass gil Chris. You're getting funnier by the episode. But hands down, hands down, my favorite episode is when you said the story about the office at your sister's funeral. This is my sister, and she didn't say anything about me.
SPEAKER_05She's like, I already know her.
SPEAKER_03She's like, I hate that bitch. Whoa. Just kidding. That was a pretty funny um scenario that you talked about. We're talking about funerals.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but who who were we talking to on that podcast episode? Was it um was it Juan?
SPEAKER_03No, if it was funeral, I feel like it was it was closer, it was like a few months ago. It was sometime this year, and we talked to Juan the first time last year.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03We'll we'll have to look that up, but I should put the clip on here. Well, there you go. Uh, next one we have from Blanca. One of my favorite memories from the podcast is when y'all talked about pussy jams. You guys should play a song from the playlist.
SPEAKER_05Oh, what's on the playlist? Let's can we take a look at the playlist?
SPEAKER_03How do I look it up? On here?
SPEAKER_05Uh-huh. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03This is Blanca, my best friend, and in one of the episodes, we talked about how we found um a CD called Pussy Jams, and then there was Pussy Jams 2. Um, and we're saying that they were straight bangers, no pun intended. Uh, so she went ahead and she recreated or what she could remember from the Oh, she she actually made it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05She actually made the jams. Ew. Look at it. It did you see that one? It said like the P word, and then in quotation said real good.
SPEAKER_03Ew. No, there's no way that I am gonna be able to find it.
SPEAKER_06No?
SPEAKER_03No, there's like tons of jams playlists on Spotify.
SPEAKER_05It's on there. She did make it.
SPEAKER_03She did make it. She did make it.
SPEAKER_05On Spotify though.
SPEAKER_03I wouldn't know how to find it.
SPEAKER_05Text her. Text her and see if she can uh send you the link to it. Real quick. I should have asked her. But anyways, you should have um Okay.
SPEAKER_03I can't text, type, and read the messages.
SPEAKER_05So you wanted to be on camera.
SPEAKER_03No, I'm not even on camera anymore. I didn't want to be on camera.
SPEAKER_05The people voted.
SPEAKER_03You paid me. Just kidding. Alright, let's go to the next one. We'll we'll try to link. Um, I'll find it and we can link it. Whoa. How about you link it to this episode?
SPEAKER_05Uh, if you want to check out, I'm not gonna say the word jams, uh we'll go down to the show description, uh, check it out. And I do want to say also one thing about the office slash my sister's funeral thing. Um I am look, I'm I'm avid actively looking for the eulogy that I wrote my sister so I can record it.
SPEAKER_02Reread it?
SPEAKER_05Reread it, record it, and put it on uh on YouTube.
SPEAKER_02Nice.
SPEAKER_05I don't know how that's gonna be, if it's gonna be uh the we'll see. Because I haven't seen that in like 10 years.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_05It's been a long time. I can't find it. I I that and then I swear, I swear, Amber, that somebody recorded the the funeral.
SPEAKER_03They recorded the whole funeral. No, I mean people record them. Well, at least finding pictures of people in their casket.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, well, at least the the speeches? Well, the speeches, yeah. I kinda remember it it's such a blur, but I remember getting up there and and doing the speech. I thought it was funny.
SPEAKER_03That's pretty funny.
SPEAKER_05I was good.
SPEAKER_03Would you do a funny speech?
SPEAKER_05I I thought I had a good set.
SPEAKER_03Somebody, your aunt in the back, uh put the light. She's like your five-minute mark.
SPEAKER_05She's like, all right. And then one of my other aunts, she's like, I heard this one before already.
SPEAKER_03And then your other aunt threw tomatoes at you. Whoa! We have another message from Miguel Bonilla. Um Gil's friend from fifth grade. Is this Miggs? It's Miggs. All right, Migs. It says, Congratulations on the 300th episode. Love you, Gil and Amber. Y'all are dope as hell. Gotta say, my favorite episode was the one I was on because we talked about my dad kidnapping you. That that I could not stop laughing. That's probably one of my that's that's one of my favorites, honestly.
SPEAKER_05One of your favorite like stories or just episodes?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like stories.
SPEAKER_05We gotta get him back on the podcast soon.
SPEAKER_03We gotta you have to make that story into a um you have to make it into a clip. Like you have to.
SPEAKER_05What do you mean?
SPEAKER_03Like into a skit.
SPEAKER_05Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like you telling that story. Story or you guys having that conversation and then like Oh yeah. You always had that you had that idea.
SPEAKER_05Well yeah, we did the one with um well with one of my jokes, but I think it'd be it it come out clearer with the podcast um with the podcast conversation. Yeah conversation that would be pretty funny. Oh that's a good uh project.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05That I could work on. Because you don't have because I don't have, you know, I don't have projects right now.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Your your cousin texted me yesterday. Forget excuse me, I forgot to tell you that. He was like, you don't have anything to shoot on board. I was like bed rotting on the couch on Sunday. He's like, you don't have anything to do right now. I I uh I'm bored. And I'm I what did I text him? I was like, dude, I'm chilling right now.
SPEAKER_03I am resting.
SPEAKER_05Got a rest day. Migs, I didn't know he was 21 years old.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05We're talking about that on the Poodle podcast, and you know, Ricky freaking going wild with being 21 year old again. I'm like, dude, you're not even that old.
SPEAKER_03He's not even 30, or he turned 30.
SPEAKER_05He turned 30, but to him, he's like the oldest person ever. He's already like oh, my back hurts, and this in the wheelchair and everything. My thing doesn't work anymore. And I'm like, I we talked about it, and I was like, dude, you're that's you gotta go check that out because that's not normal.
SPEAKER_03Was he being serious?
SPEAKER_05I hope not.
SPEAKER_03That's crazy. That's crazy. That was something I did not need to know, and I could have lived my entire life without it's he was probably just joking. It's probably all the roids.
SPEAKER_05Whoa, you heard it here first, folks. Ricky Novea is on the roids.
SPEAKER_03He got a body like he on the roids. Just kidding. Okay, bye. Nobody shaming on this episode. Hey, nobody shaming on this episode. All right, we're gonna go on to the next one. SPEAKER_03Thanks, Javier.
SPEAKER_05Uh thanks, Javier. Go check out Fuhauser on all the platforms. Honestly, Javier is like one of my favorite guests on the podcast.
SPEAKER_03Yes. I was you took the words right out of my mouth.
SPEAKER_05Always. Every time he gets in the studio, the three of us sit down and talk. We just talk about the coolest things.
SPEAKER_03And he knows so much.
SPEAKER_05Yes. One of the smartest individuals. Men that I've ever come across and met. And I'm so glad that we've met him.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_05How do we meet him, anyways?
SPEAKER_03He's our buddy, our friend.
SPEAKER_05Oh, you know what? I met him through um The Dude from LA.
SPEAKER_03That's right.
SPEAKER_05He was like, you gotta have him on. Check out my homie. He does all this great.
SPEAKER_03Uh didn't he come like on a like a spooky episode the first time?
SPEAKER_05No, the second time.
SPEAKER_03Or that was the second time.
SPEAKER_05I think it was the second time.
SPEAKER_03He's been on our show like three times, right?
SPEAKER_05The last time. Or no, the the second time he came in, we did like a horror theme.
SPEAKER_03Because there was one time that he did it at the house, and then we were you were like we were kind of creeped out after he Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_05Then that was the second that was the first time.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, then that was the first time.
SPEAKER_05Second time.
SPEAKER_03We talked about like abandoned places and things like that. That's right.
SPEAKER_05And then he came on a he's been on the show four times.
SPEAKER_03Four times? Yeah. I was gonna say, I think it might be four.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Cool. Well, we need him back a fifth time.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, definitely. I think we're in the realm of bringing guests back for sure. And I think he's always like one of the episodes that I like. I I rarely do this, but on podcasts that I felt like were so really good, I go back and and check them out and listen to them. And Javier's is is always one that I like to go back. So absolutely. Thanks, Javier Fuhauser. Really appreciate it. Thanks for popping in and congratulating us. All right, next we have Congratulating us.

SPEAKER_03I don't remember when he came into our lives. He's like, you know that dog that just like shows up and then nobody knows where he where he came from or anything. You know, he's just the the family's dog.
SPEAKER_05You're just feeding him.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you're just like, I don't know. I don't know who he is.
SPEAKER_05You're just randomly like picking up like random poop, and you're just like, why am I still doing this? Yeah, I'm just kidding, Ricky.
SPEAKER_03I'm just giving you a hard time. Uh because you can't get a hard time. Just kidding. All right, I'm done.
SPEAKER_05Why would you say that?
SPEAKER_03Because you brought it up.
SPEAKER_05That's no, I'm saying, why would he say that on the podcast?
SPEAKER_03Hey, it's fair game for me to bring it up because he put it on the podcast for bring it up.
SPEAKER_02Whoa. Just kidding.
SPEAKER_03I'm just kidding, Ricky. Um, you know, I like always um making fun of you having your hard time. But it's all in love. I appreciate you, Ricky. I appreciate everything you do. I appreciate you being a friend to Gil, honestly. And I know sometimes he can be a handful.
SPEAKER_05I'm not a handful.
SPEAKER_03But you're still there, and I appreciate you.
SPEAKER_05If I was Ricky, I would have fucking I would not be your friend.
SPEAKER_03If I was him, I would not be your friend. I'm too far deep into this relationship that I just, you know, you're like working.
SPEAKER_05You're like warning him at this point right now.
SPEAKER_03You're just like I just gotta see it through. You know, it's like one of those movies where you're just like, damn, this movie sucks. But I gotta keep, you know, watching it for the plot.
SPEAKER_05I'm already in the thing.
SPEAKER_03I'm already here. I'm committed. I'm committed, and I just worry about popcorn. Yeah, it was like when I watched um what is that, a human centipede? Like that.
SPEAKER_05You didn't like that movie?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_05It was good. I'm just gonna the second one was weird. The block, the whole black and white was it black and white, the second one?
SPEAKER_03I can't remember. Oh, yeah, I was like a like an Austrian um doctor and all that.
SPEAKER_05That was so good. Oh my god. We could just end it there.
SPEAKER_03All right. I'm down, 32 minutes. Goodbye and good night. I said goodbye and good night.
SPEAKER_05How long was that?
SPEAKER_0332 minutes.
unknownNo, we gotta keep going.
SPEAKER_03Must.
SPEAKER_05Oh that was good. Good job, Ember.
SPEAKER_03What did I do?
SPEAKER_05You made me laugh. Oh, okay. That's funny. I'm I'm a hard critic. I'm a hard person to make laugh, so you talk about you laugh all day with me. That's true. Um all right, this next one, uh, because I I I didn't um I didn't I thought that I didn't have enough submission, so I just sorry if I blew anyone's ears out with that laugh. So I asked uh ChatGPT, can you congratulate me on my 300 episodes? I'm not a loser anymore.
SPEAKER_02I'm a loser.
SPEAKER_05Uh this is what ChatGPT had to say. Uh 300 episodes is a huge accomplishment. What I like about the Mind Buzz is that it doesn't feel like it's chasing viral moments. It feels like a conversation. One episode might make you laugh, the next might unexpectedly wait, hold on. The next might get unexpectedly deep. And that's what keeps it interesting. Over the years, you've built a space where comedians, artists, and interesting people can just be themselves. It feels independent, authentic, and like you're making it, and like you're making it because you love doing it, not because you're trying to fit in an algorithm. Making it to 300 episodes takes consistency more than anything. A lot of people start podcasts, but very few stick with them long enough to build a real catalog and community. Congratulations on 300 episodes, and here's to whatever crazy conversations come next.
SPEAKER_03Thanks, chat. You could have just said on an anonymous message came in.
SPEAKER_05You gotta keep it genuine. Gotta keep it genuine.
SPEAKER_03Umny gold.
SPEAKER_05No, because there were never mind. I'm surprised Johnny didn't write anything.
SPEAKER_03Johnny hates his neck.
SPEAKER_05And I'm I'm kind of upset that he didn't write anything, but that's fine. Even though he's gonna watch this episode, anyways, and he's gonna comment and everything, so all right. Okay, uh it's fine.
SPEAKER_03We have another video message from tech.
SPEAKER_05Well, it's an audio message.
SPEAKER_03Oh, audio message from tech. Tech ho. Let's listen to him.
SPEAKER_02Sorry guys, I'm having enough.
SPEAKER_01Hey Mind Buds, congratulations on 300 episodes. Thank you guys for all the effort and work you guys put in for keeping all of us entertained. You guys are one of the best podcasts around. I love you guys so much. And to 300 more.
SPEAKER_03Thanks, Tech.
SPEAKER_05Thanks, tech.
SPEAKER_03Did you pay all these?
SPEAKER_05No. I didn't pay tech. Although I although I didn't the comedian, he does it for free. Yeah. He's gonna do it for stage time. I said any comedian, I said any comic that wants to get stage time on the next show. Uh send me send us a message. Send me a one-minute message congratulating me on the 300 podcast. Uh thanks, Tech. Go check out that episode. I think that was like 300, but 300. I thought I there was like three out, it was like a three-hour podcast or something like that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it was long, but it was it was fun.
SPEAKER_05I had fun. It was, yeah. Always talk about the time where um always talk about the time. Where on his what's that letterbox where his letterbox thing has um a picture of of Bart Simpson? And I I just thought that was like the the funniest thing.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it was uh his movie one.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, letterbox.
SPEAKER_03Oh, letterbox, that's what it's called.
SPEAKER_05And he was like, go to the go to the profile picture with Bart Simpson. I I don't know why I thought that was I don't know. It's so funny to me. Um thanks, Tech. It also sounded like Tech was like he was at like the back of a church.
SPEAKER_03Whispering, he's all embarrassed to send us a message.
SPEAKER_05Like he was under his bed. Like his parents told him. Excuse me.
SPEAKER_03Like his parents better not be congratulating the We don't want to hear a peep from you. What did I say? Uh what did I tell you about the scenario when he was like, I'm gonna lock you up in that hotel room, no water, no food, no nothing. That's what his parents said. If he sent us a message, and then he put the blankets over his head, and then the pillow, the phone under the pillow, and he's like, Hey my buddy, I just want to say congratulations with his feet up in there, and then his mom came in and she uncovered the blankets, and then she hit him with the belt.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03This is what happens when I'm tired. Alright, we have another one from Leo Fontana. Fontex bring back the medium from episode 96. Just kidding. Lol.
SPEAKER_05I told him, I was like, dude, I'm gonna hit her up because there's been not just him, but there's been multiple people that have been asking about it.
SPEAKER_03You were just talking about so weird.
SPEAKER_05This is it, this is getting weird because maybe she's like doing some she's sending subliminal messages to us.
SPEAKER_03What happened to her?
SPEAKER_05I think she's still doing her thing.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that was scary.
SPEAKER_05You thought it was scary?
SPEAKER_03And I don't get scared.
SPEAKER_05This one, that would we should, we should bring her shade her up.
SPEAKER_06I don't know. Especially down here.
SPEAKER_03Hey, I'm not fucking over here.
SPEAKER_05Whoa! What if we bring her and then like somebody that's very religious?
SPEAKER_03I want somebody that like picks up um no your whole family. Um somebody that picks up like energies. Like that could tell us if there's energy down here. No, we can't do that because you'll never come down here if somebody says there is.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I would.
SPEAKER_03No, you would not.
unknownNo, you wouldn't.
SPEAKER_05I pick up energies. Let's bring your sister down here. She'll start talking to the plants.
SPEAKER_03We don't have plants yet.
SPEAKER_05She'll start talking to the credible hulker here.
SPEAKER_03My sister out of this. Just kidding. All right, and then we have Stephanie Mateo, aka Tortarbi. She said, Read this one because you did also ask to just send us something funny or something to talk about. She put, I think my ex-boyfriend is gay because I found Grindr on his phone and I asked if he was gay. He said he's not and uses it to buy meth. Oh my god. Should I believe him? LOL. True story too. I think he's gay and buys meth. Thanks everyone for an incredible nightwork. And the mind buzz. Yeah, I seen a picture of her ex-boyfriend.
SPEAKER_05That's such a cop out, though, just to say that. Like, why would you like you you would rather tell your your partner that you're a a meth head than to tell her that you that you look for butt stuff? That you look for men on the internet.
SPEAKER_03Well yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's wild. Usually it's the other way around.
SPEAKER_03I'm doing drugs? No, no, I feel like any quote straight man that is on the down low is gonna way rather tell someone that they're on drugs than to tell them they're gay. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I guess.
SPEAKER_03And that makes for angry men.
SPEAKER_06What?
SPEAKER_03To be on the down low. Come on, just live your truth, man.
SPEAKER_06That's crazy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but I think he's doing both, so yeah, it could be both. Yeah, because I'm just sleeping with them to get meth. No, you're sleeping with them because you like it and you want to get meth.
SPEAKER_05What's your hot take?
SPEAKER_03On men on the download.
SPEAKER_05On meth?
SPEAKER_03Conservative men or men that are like very anti-gay.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Are gay, secretly gay.
SPEAKER_05The DL.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05The D low brown.
SPEAKER_03D low brown? Oh, it's D Lo Green, huh?
SPEAKER_05Yeah. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_03Crazy work. Thanks for that though.
SPEAKER_05That was a good one. She thinks.
SPEAKER_03No, he's should I believe him?
SPEAKER_05Oh.
SPEAKER_03No. Why are you trying to take him back?
SPEAKER_05Should I should I have believed him? I wonder if she believed him at the beginning.
SPEAKER_03I once in this um TikTok that this girl was saying to check your boyfriend's bow. And if it's stretched out, then he's having gay sex.
SPEAKER_05Nah, I don't believe that.
SPEAKER_03Let me see your bow.
SPEAKER_05You could check mine. You could check mine on video right here.
SPEAKER_03No, thanks. I don't even want to check it.
SPEAKER_05Why? It's gonna have like some Dingleberries. No, I had toilet paper or something.
SPEAKER_03Oh.
SPEAKER_05Uh that was strange.
SPEAKER_03That one was like that one just like shut us down.
SPEAKER_05That took a wild turn. Um all right.
SPEAKER_03I want to say something.
SPEAKER_05Is your ex boyfriend Ricky Novea?
SPEAKER_03Shut up. I want to say congratulations to you on three hundredth episodes. I see how work, how work, how much you were. Oh, this is you now. It's just me, I'm not sure. Talking to me, yeah, I'm talking about it.
SPEAKER_05Okay. All right. Amber's has a floor now, and she's not reading anything.
SPEAKER_03No, I'm not. I'm not. I'm genuinely saying that I'm I'm very proud of you. Although you give me lots of credit, um, I don't do as much as people think. Um, I like when Andy comes to our podcast and then he comes over here and he's like, hey, do you know how to do this and this and that? And can you show me how to do this and that? And then I'm like, Andy, I know how to push two buttons and that's it. So I I am um I'm glad that people think that I do more. No. Um, no, but I I honestly I'm very proud of you, and I think that um, you know, I have to give you your your credit where credit is due. And my flowers. Your flowers give your flowers, but everything that you guys see on uh on these episodes is um totally Gil. Um we've had a evolution of audio, an evolution of video, and everything has been um him just trial and error, and wanting uh everything to look better, and just wanting the quality of what he does every time to be great, and that's just who he is overall as a person. Um so yeah, I'm I'm very proud of you because you you literally do everything. You book everybody, you um have again evolutionized uh audio, video, the backgrounds, you created the studios. I mean, if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have all of this. Um I will give myself a little credit. Um, I do have to sit here. No, I'm just kidding. Um, no, no, I mean I I know that I I'm glad and I'm I'm happy that you did uh include me and that you continue to let me help you on this podcast journey. But um, but yeah, I'm very proud of you and how far you've come and how much you actually work because you do work a lot and making the clips and and putting the episodes up and making making sure the thumbnails are great. Like it's just it's a lot of work, and I don't think people understand how much work it really is. So um, congratulations.
SPEAKER_06Thank you.
SPEAKER_05Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. Um now it's my turn. No, uh no, I agree with you.
SPEAKER_03Uh everything you said was spot on.
SPEAKER_05Uh no, I do people don't realize how much work it is.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_05And I think we're having a conversation uh with a with a comedian uh not too long ago about how um you know starting something and then continue like trying like starting something and then figuring out oh, before I start this, I need to know how to do this, but in order to do this, I need to do X, Y, and Z. And it becomes like a whole um fountain of just things that you need to learn. And one thing that that got me through six years of doing the podcast, 300 300 episodes, is doing things wrong for a very long time. And I'm we're still and you talk about the evolution or the revolution, the evolution of the podcast, it's still evolving. Like in the next hundred episodes, two hundred episodes, if we're still doing this, when we're still doing this, it's probably it's not gonna look the same as and it's not gonna feel the same.
SPEAKER_03It's only gonna be better.
SPEAKER_05Right. I think there's only one yeah, it's just you can't you can't like starting this thing was was was just something that I wanted to do for a very long time. But I didn't know what it was until I learned what a podcast was. And then after I learned what a podcast was, then I was like, oh, this is a thing. This is a thing that I want to do. And that was it. And then I just did it. And I wanted to quit. Two uh a month in, wanna say? A month in, I wanted to quit. Two months in, I wanted to quit. A year in, I was like, oh okay, maybe this is going right. And I opened up a whole bunch of things. Like I met all the we met so many cool people. We met Javier.
SPEAKER_04A lot of cool people.
SPEAKER_05Uh we met the medium, we met people that listen in Oregon that still message us, that that still send us things. Hey, you guys gotta check out this when you go to Oregon, or when I go to Oregon, uh when you guys the next time, because we talked about Oregon for like months. Hey, when you come to Oregon, I want to show you guys around.
SPEAKER_03I want to show you where the the And we've had a lot of cool opportunities too.
SPEAKER_05We've gotten invited to things and concerts, uh, events, uh several different concerts, events, um, just so many random things, you know, and it's been the journey of 300 episodes have been have been wild. And it all starts from just learning something and and not being not being afraid to put yourself out there. And we literally we I put myself out there every single week. So do you, like with conversation, and yeah, a lot of people do it. A lot of people have podcasts. And a lot of people put themselves on video, like a lot, yeah, a lot of people do it, but there's also a lot of people that don't do it, that want to do it, and I think that they should. If you want to do something, try it. If if you if it's not your thing, then hey, at least you tried it. At least you tried it for a couple months or a week or whatever. But what I'm saying is that like having the courage to to go on, you know, go even go on the internet. Because I think like when people talk about like podcast and comedy like separately, I'm always gonna side with there there's there obviously they're two separate things, but I'm always gonna side with a podcast because a podcast, you can have a bad set on stage, and no one will remember. Only you will, but everybody else is gonna forget. You do one bad podcast, it's on the internet forever.
unknownYep.
SPEAKER_05Unless you delete it.
SPEAKER_03But then even then, sometimes it still stays right if somebody takes a screenshot or video or whatever the thing is.
SPEAKER_05Exactly. And I think early on in in the podcast, we've had so I I don't want to talk about like haters and and people that disliked me, but things things happen and I don't even know where to go from that. But it's it's just putting yourself out there, it it takes a lot. And even some nights, Amber, some nights I'm going to bed, I'm just like, oh, I wish I had I wish I shouldn't have said that. Like so there's sometimes where you stop, where you stop the like the the episode and we're done recording, and I'm just like maybe I shouldn't have said that. Or maybe it came out wrong, or maybe this, or maybe that. But I think that's just me overthinking about everything. Yeah. I'm an overthinker.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I'm glad that you've let me be a part of it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's been it's been really fun.
SPEAKER_06You know, I've been thinking uh about having like a like a third person. What the fuck? Every other every other podcast, no?
SPEAKER_04Just kidding.
SPEAKER_03That's not funny. Go for it. You can have a second person that can quit. I didn't even get a thank you, nothing. Sheesh.
SPEAKER_05Just kidding. Um Amber, I want to thank you.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no. This is my turn. No, hold on.
SPEAKER_05Wait, you didn't let me finish. I was gonna say, sometimes I I'll often think about let's let's bring in like a third personality onto the show, but then I'm like, you know what? We don't need to because Amber is three personalities all in one.
SPEAKER_03You don't like all my personalities?
SPEAKER_05She's three personalities all in one. Um no, I I thank you for for coming out and doing the podcast. I really appreciate it. Go ahead and tell us where we can find you and where you got coming up. No, because there are some night some days and some nights where it we have something booked, and it's booked for weeks and or even months sometimes, and it's like some days that I'm just like, oh, I I feel bad for bringing you out and putting you in a chair and and and recording and having you do this for me, but or for us. I say for us because it's not only me, right? It's not only me that gets to enjoy the podcast, it's the people that also watch it and listen to it. And I'm I'm pretty sure that they appreciate it too. They appreciate your time, my time. Hopefully they appreciate it, which I I I know they do, because if they didn't, they wouldn't have sent us the messages or sent us um, you know, reels and stuff. And but it it's it's a cool thing too because we get to I get to learn like not many not many couples get to do something creative together for as long as we've had.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and make it work, and make it work.
SPEAKER_05I agree. And I think it's uh it's a very special thing that we have because we get to create I get to do something that I really love, which is the podcasting and the video stuff and the editing stuff, and then also too, I feel you enjoy it because you get to meet a new person, you like to talk, and you like to share stories, you get to share insights, I like to do the same thing. It becomes this great thing that we have uh just creatively, and then we just talk about ideas and it's it's fun.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it is. I mean, I I started with just simply being there to help you. Um, but I think as time has passed and more episodes have passed, I've I've really um learned to enjoy it. Um, and I I'm just I'm happy that I can be here and help you and help you have this dream um become a reality. And I I do I enjoy everybody that we meet and the conversations that we get to have, and you know that I can voice myself and be who I am. Yes, sometimes I'm like, oh, what did I say though? Because I'm not a person that um has any desire to be on social media or do anything in that realm. So it's it's it is um a struggle for me sometimes because I'm like this is not this is not me. Um but I think I am warming up to it more and more, and again, I just see the joy that it brings you. So for me, it's it's that's the reward, honestly.
SPEAKER_06The flowers bring back the flowers, die.
SPEAKER_03All right, we are yeah, and we just want to say thank you to everybody. We're gonna go ahead and wrap this up before we get locked in this dungeon.
SPEAKER_05Whoa!
SPEAKER_03We can't get locked down here, but yeah, we want to say thank you again, and here's two 300 more episodes.
SPEAKER_05Here's two 300 episodes.
SPEAKER_03Weird all the time. Go is starting to that should be the uh the song. Yeah, and I have to pee really bad.
SPEAKER_05Okay, go pee.
SPEAKER_03Why I I gotta stop this. Alright, everyone, we'll see you like that the next episode.
SPEAKER_05No outro song, we'll do like a sad song.
SPEAKER_03Thanks, Gil, for being on this podcast. Can you please tell everyone where we can find you and what you have coming up?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, of course. Uh thanks, Amber. Thanks, Gil, for having me on the podcast. You can find me at Gil Billy Delic on Instagram. Also, follow my podcast, the mindbuzz, on Instagram.
